All About Me
Leila Fae is a South West London–based R&B and soul artist whose music blends heartfelt storytelling with smooth contemporary soul, laid-back lo-fi R&B, and alternative influences. She is known for pairing warm, emotive vocals with expressive violin, creating a distinctive sound that bridges classical musicianship with modern songwriting.
A graduate in singing and performance, Leila is a professionally trained vocalist and violinist with over 15 years of instrumental experience. She has performed as a concertmaster in orchestral settings, working alongside high-level classical musicians including Chopin Competition finalists, which has shaped her precision, musical leadership, and sensitivity as a performer.
As an independent artist, she writes, produces, and performs her own music, shaping a sound that is deeply personal and emotionally driven. Her work sits between R&B, soul, and alternative pop, often built around intimate vocal storytelling, layered harmonies, and the integration of violin as a central expressive voice rather than a background instrument.
Alongside her own artistry, Leila is a member of the London Community Gospel Choir (LCGC), through which she has performed on some of the UK’s most prestigious stages. Highlights include Glastonbury Festival, the Royal Albert Hall, Southwark Cathedral, Marlborough College, West End’s Candlelight Concert series, and televised appearances such as the Loose Women Christmas Show.
Her wider performance experience includes fashion and brand events such as Damson Madder, as well as studio projects under the direction of Benji B and Kieran Blunt, collaborating with artists and musicians including Celeste, Mabel, and Bastille. She was also part of a project that reached No. 1 on iTunes, charting alongside seasonal classics from artists such as Mariah Carey and Taylor Swift.
Rooted in South West London’s vibrant music scene, Leila brings a strong and versatile presence to stage and studio alike — making her a compelling artist for live performance, collaborations, radio, and forward-thinking music projects.
